A photography workshop customised by international award winning photographer William Chua for photographers…
The dynamics of the desert from a sea of sand to form mountains and elegant sand dunes creating the multi-colored landscape known as Namibia – the land of eternal sunshine over endless horizon.
At sunrise, the vibrant colors of the highest sand dunes in the world stand out at Sossusvlei. These wind-sculpted sand dunes appear like waves of chocolate and with the contrast of the shallow depressions filled with rainwater, or vleis (shallow intermittent lake), every square space becomes a photographer’s angle.
One of South Africa’s finest and most important game reserves is Etosha National Park. Etosha was formerly where Kunene River flows to create a lake. As the river changed its course, the lake dried up leaving behind a mineral pan. The dry winter months from May to October are the best time to visit Namibia as the weather is agreeable and skies crystal blue.
William will guide the participants along for photography and there will also be critic sesssions
to help participants improve on their photos. A briefing will be done prior to the trip.
Workshop is open to participants from Beginner to any level
