I know I have not updated the blog for a while
But have been really busy.. and the health was not very good..
I was also away conducting the Kenya Photography workshop.. and had just came back to Singapore .
(will be sharing those images very soon)

But first.. let me share with you a piece of very good news..
I have a 2nd placing in the IPA 2011 Competition
(category: Special: moving images _ migration of the zebras)
I have gotten 4 3rd placings in the IPA 2011 competition
(category: Special: Panoramic _ march of the elephants)
(category: Special: Moving Images _ flight of the flamingos)
(category: Special: Pets _ dog)
(category: People: Wedding _ love taking shelter)

In addition, I also have 17 Honorable Mentions in the competition
They are for the categories under Wildlife, FineArt, Pets, Family, Travel/Tourism, Landscape, children and weddings.

The International Photography Awards is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, where the top three winners are announced at the annual Lucie Awards ceremony. The awards event will be held at the Lincoln Center in New York on October 24, 2011, before returning to Los Angeles in 2012 in celebration of the 10-year anniversary. Over 8,000 submissions from 90 countries were received for the 2011 International Photography Awards with over 70 jurors, the largest to date. The Foundation’s mission is to honor master photographers, discover new and emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of photography.
