Had talked a bit about the GFX with the Minolta Rokkor 45 mm f2 lens here
https://www.williamchua.com/blog/gfx-fotodiox-minolta-rokkor-45-mm-f2-lens/
Had a chance to bring it out to take images of the backstage preparations of the Singapore Chinese Opera last night
The camera and lens did not disappoint.
Would have loved to use it with the GF 23mm… but would want something with a shallow depth of field… so decided on the Minolta lens.
Not gonna talk much about the GFX + Minolta lens combination..since I have already said much in the previous post..
But just let the images do the talking..
All images here are taken with GFX + Minolta Rokkor 45 mm f2 lens
There are only about 10 professional street opera troupes left in Singapore
Its definitely a dying trade..
But kudos to those who keep this culture alive..
My 1st time going to the backstage of the Opera performance..
the hectic schedule of multi roles, changing costumes is definitely no easy feat..
especially so in this Singapore weather..
Great performance from 新加坡小洞天歌仔戲劇團 Xiao Dong Tian Hokkien Opera Troupe
