The new camera, X-H1 from Fujifilm is finally launched at Chijmes last nite
Thanks for those who attended
Glad to see alot of familiar faces..
Here is the video I did on the pre production set when I was in Mongolia in January

As I mentioned during the presentation ,
The X-H1 with the new improved AutoFocus Algorithm is definitely a great leap forward.
As a wedding ,travel and wildlife photographer, there are times when I need to shoot fast in bad lighting conditions, and the camera
Did not fail in these aspects. The focus was spot on, and it does not hunt much to get the shot that I need.
The shutter sound is soft, which is perfect for my shooting situations.
The body and grip, though slightly bigger than X-T2 feels more comfortable , especially when using it with bigger lenses.
Using the camera in extreme conditions did not disappoint at all.
And I definitely appreciate the 5 Axis IBIS for the camera. It gives me the confidence to get more stable shots when shooting both photos and videos.
This is more apparent when I am using long lenses or when shooting in freezing temperatures
Here are some snippets of the event taken from my handphone..
My mongolia images
I also did some demo shoot with the X-H1
