As mentioned in a previous post, I conducted a photography workshop in Mongolia recently
https://www.williamchua.com/blog/golden-eagle-festival-2016//
But at the same time.. I was playing around with the video function of the XT2
I am not a videographer.. so I cannot really comment much about the technicalities..
I shot alot of footage of the action scenes in Mongolia..
And I really liked what I see…
It worked very well with the Fujinon 100-400 mm lens
Especially in a harsh condition like Mongolia, with strong winds and dipping temperature
I have already commented on the lens with the xPro2..in a previous post..

So how does it perform with the Xt2 ?
I think its great ! Especially with the battery grip of the Xt2
The weight distribution definitely felt better.
It is a big lens.. and I definitely feel more comfortable using it with a grip.
Also, with the grip, I now have 3 batteries in the camera, and I can continue shooting photo/and video with less
worries about the battery life.
The lens again did not disappoint with its image stabilization.. performed extremely well even at 400 mm
Bearing in mind that the wind is very strong in Mongolia, and I was not using any tripod for the coverage.
The videos below are shot with the Xt2 + 100-400 mm combination ( except the last video which was taken with the 10-24mm lens)
They are out from camera with no editing yet
