Zhuji City, in the Zhejiang Province of China, is one of the biggest hubs for freshwater pearls in the world. Zhuji is also the capital of the ancient Yue Kingdom and native town of Xishi, a legendary beauty in the old China.
Unsurprisingly, Zhuji boasts the largest pearl market and distribution center for freshwater pearls in the world. From there, pearls are exported to more than 50 countries.
95% of freshwater pearls are cultured in China, with 90% of those gems coming from Zhuji which are mainly sold through the Zhuji Pearls Market

The first part of the video was taken at The Thousand Pillar House
The Thousand Pillar house built by Si Yuanru in the Qing Jiaqing period (1796-1820) of Qing Dynasty, is located
in Sizhai Village.
The scenic spot is renowned for a land of wonder and profound culture and history..
Residents still stay there till this day
We were also very lucky to be able to witness the residents roasting tea leaves during the trip

Though Zhuji is not as popular as alot of major cities in China, it definitely has its charm.
